27.11.2011: People 2011 Gallery added

This gallery shows some pictures from my work in the portrait, beauty and fashion category. Recently I have not been doing many projects in this area, but hopefully I find more time again in the future. The pictures in this gallery are either from shootings in 2011, or from older shootings that I have retouched in 2011. I will add more pictures to this gallery to show my portfolio.

22.08.2011: Hong Kong Gallery added

This gallery shows pictures from my visits in Hong Kong and Shenzen in 2011, two fascinating cities with a completely different history. Coming from Europe, the pace of change especially in Shenzen is always the most obvious and fascinating impression. Even local people are sometimes struggling to find places they haven't visited for a while, as everything has changed within just a few months. What seems to work well is, at least seen from the visitor's perspective, that a new middle-class seems to grow, with values and interests very similar to the Western world. Hong Kong is a bit different, as you still experience the British influence, at least you believe you do. This gives a very nice and attractive mixture between the dominating Chinese influence and some western habits. What you also find here, is, that everything new has to be more than anything seen before. I hope to be back in these fascinating cities to capture more visual impressions, that capture all these changes.
